Most agents now realise that the majority of new and future business is coming via the internet. But the market is getting increasingly competitive. To prove the point, do a search on Google for any term relating to the type of property you sell, and look at how many results it shows. For your clients, it's not only about getting high rankings on search engines. It's also about making your site give a good impression of you and your company, and being easy to use from the visitor's perspective.

When we were looking at buying property abroad, I lost track of the amount of times I gave up looking at a site due to it's slowness, or the bad navigation, small photos, unclear description, bad search facility and so on. I really don't think some agents ever visit their own site. For a comparison, take a moment to visit the sites of some of your competitors, but with an open mind rather than a critical eye. Some companies have quite rightly invested tens of thousands of euros in creating a site to improve their lead generation. Thankfully, you don't need to spend that much.

Online Property Management System

We have developed and are constantly improving our property management system. It is very easy to use and to upload and maintain your property listings. This system integrates with your website, so visitors can see your listings immediately. No need to upload or merge your inhouse database with your website as it's all automatic. No need for programming - any member of your staff can do it. As long as you can access the internet, you can use the system. Unlike some software, this means you can access it from home or multiple offices with no need to merge or consolidate databases.

Your properties can also be selected to go on to one of our property portals. Again this involves no extra work from you, it's an automatic process, and it's all included in the monthly fee. This is effectively free advertising for you in front of a world-wide audience.

You can also join our Multiple Listing System (MLS) which allows you to share your properties with other agents around the world, and for them to share theirs with you. The advantages are twofold. One, you get a bigger portfolio to offer to your clients and can get a referrers commission when you pass a client to the listing agent. Two, you will also get leads passed over from other agents whom you would pay a referrers fee to when and if you make a sale. What we do

Firstly, we'll discuss your requirements with you in order to substantiate your objectives and goals, and identify any areas of weakness that need to be covered or any possible strengths that can be promoted.

The next step is to create a professional and unique website to enhance your company image. We don't advise a 'Flash only' website as it usually puts visitors off, although Flash can be used sparingly to enhance - see our Flash Ads page for more details.

We integrate the property search and management system into your website. The database system we use is based on .NET and MS SQL 2000, both industry heavyweights. It doesn't matter in which language your site is designed in though, as our system is designed to be flexible and link to many different technologies.

We make sure from an early stage that your website is 'search-engine friendly'. This means, that search engines will be able to crawl the pages with ease which will give your site a better chance of being found by search engine visitors. You may also want to consider using our search engine marketing services to increase your exposure.

Your new site will also be easy for you to update. Adding, removing and altering property listings is all taken care of by the database system. Other pages of text, such as information about your company, or promotions or whatever can easily be updated, either through our Content Management System (CMS) or we can arrange some other method with you.

We take care of the hosting of the database as part of the monthly fee, on our secure server based in London. This is backed up daily to protect against loss, so you never have to worry about backing it up yourself.

We also offer a translation service for all property details, as our property database is designed to be multi-lingual. For this, we use a qualified translator. Or you can translate the details yourself.

Prices for a system start from €500 for a site with a €50 monthly maintenance to include the database hosting, portal advertising and MLS facility.
